Breakfast and School Clubs

Breakfast Club

We have an on-site Breakfast Club which is open from 7.45am until school starts at 8.40am. Children from Reception Class to Year 6 can make use of Breakfast Club facilities. The cost of this provision for the academic year 23-24 will be £3 per first child, £2.70 for siblings and £2 for those families in receipt of pupil premium allowance, per day. They are provided with a choice of breakfast cereals, bagels, fresh fruit and water. There are a variety of games, activities and books for the children to use after they have had their breakfast. You need to book in advance through Arbor as spaces are limited. Further information is available from the school office.

School Clubs

It is our aim that over the course of the year, each one of our pupils will have attended at least one club. Each term the children are given the opportunity to take part in various activities outside of the normal school day.

There are clubs offered before school, during lunchtime and after school (15.15 – 16.15). The clubs offered vary each term, but in recent years they have included: art, choir, dance, athletics, football, cricket, rounders, gardening, science and chess.

Some of these clubs are run by members of staff and are free for pupils to attend. Others are provided by outside agencies, who charge a fee. Pupil Premium can be used for clubs that have a fee, please contact the school office as soon as possible to book.

Information about clubs is provided before the end of each term as places need to be booked in advance, there will not be the option to attend ad hoc sessions.
