RECEPTION CLASS ADMISSIONS 

All applications for Reception places must be made through Hertfordshire County Council and not directly through the school.

Children usually start Reception in September. However, parents should read the 'Age of Admission and Deferral of Places' section of our Admissions Policy for information about delayed or deferred entry.

If your child is offered a place at Belswains Primary School, we will contact you shortly after National Offer Day to arrange visits for you and your child, helping to ensure a smooth and positive transition into school.

Please note: A place in our Nursery does not guarantee a place in our Reception class. A separate application must be submitted through Hertfordshire County Council.
