NURSERY CLASS ADMISSIONS 

Although our initial round of applications have closed, we still have a few spaces for 2025-2026 academic year. Please email admin@belswains.herts.sch.uk to discuss further.

Belswains Primary School offers 15 hours Nursery provision per week from 8.50 – 11.50, Monday to Friday.

From September 2025, we are expanding this offer with additional bolt on sessions for parents to utilise as necessary. These are an additional paid breakfast club and lunch club offer, meaning your child could be cared for at Belswains from 7.45 am until 12.50 pm daily. 

In September 2026, we shall be admitting 26 children born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023.  Please see our policy for more information about how we allocate places into our Nursery class.

Your child's full Birth Certificate must also be brought in for the School Office to verify your application.

Please note: Admission into our Nursery does not guarantee a place in our Reception. All Reception applications go through Hertfordshire County Council NOT through the school.
