We have an on-site Breakfast Club which is open from 8.00am until school starts at 8.45am. Children from Reception Class to Year 6 can make use of Breakfast Club facilities. They are provided with a choice of breakfast cereals, toast, fruit juices and water. There are a variety of games, activities and books for the children to use after they have had their breakfast. There is no need to book in advance, but there is a small daily charge (contact school office for current price). Further information is available from the school office.
Our nursery is open from 8.50 – 11.50 a.m. (15 hours per week).
Each term the children are given the opportunity to take part in various activities outside of the normal school day, usually from 3.20 – 4.15. The clubs offered vary from time to time, but in recent years they have included: art, choir, dance, athletics, football, cricket, rounders, gardening, science and chess. Some of these clubs are run by members of staff and are free. Others are provided by outside agencies who charge a fee.
After School Clubs
After school child care is available until 6.00pm and is provided by ‘Young Hearts’ which is based at a local primary school and at Bennetts End Community Centre. A minibus collects the children from Belswains. The school office are able to provide contact details for Young Hearts.
All in school and extra-curricular after school clubs are currently on hold due to Covid-19 restrictions. An update regarding this will be given in the Spring Term (January 2021).
