Belswains School PTA (BSA)

Belswains School PTA (previously called BSA) organises many social and fundraising events for children, adults and the whole community. In recent years these have included discos, cinema nights and theatre groups performing for the children, quiz nights for the adults and summer and Christmas Markets for families, friends and the local community. Through the support of the PTA, the school has been able to purchase additional resources including an outdoor climbing frame and fitness trail for the children to use at playtimes and all the furniture and fixtures for the new library.

Supporting the work of the PTA is a good way for new parents to become involved in the life of the school. The PTA needs the support of parents to ensure it is able to continue to provide these additional resources.

You can play a part in three ways:

  • become a committee member
  • volunteer to help at an event, as a one-off or on a regular basis
  • support and attend PTA events.

If you would like to know more about the PTA please contact your child’s class representative (see the latest PTA Newsletter below for names and faces!). Or if you wish, you can contact the Chair, Mrs Jenny Kennealy via the BSA email address (bsa@belswains.herts.sch.uk) or via the school office.
